Meet the Team

Patsy Shaha, an Alutiiq woman, is a proud Alaskan Native that has lived in Alaska most of her life. She is originally from a small village called Perryville, Alaska with an astonishing population size of just 82 people! She graduated from Kenai High school, and then got a Bachelors in Biology Composite Teaching.

She taught for four years in middle school and high school, and then got a Master’s Degree in Education Leadership and was a school administrator across all grades with the Anchorage School District. Ms. Shaha served the families of the Anchorage School District for over 15 years as an administrator; the last three three years as the principal of the Alaska Native Cultural Charter School, at the height of its scholastic achievement.

After leaving ASD, she went on to get a Master’s in Business Administration, and then went to law school at Willamette University in Salem, Oregon. In law school, she served the students as the student body president; she served her fellow shareholders of Bristol Bay Native Corporation as a legal intern; and she served the people of Oregon as the legal lintern for Governor Kate Brown. What an experience!
